He began his career as an illustrator and comic book creator, developing over fifty original characters during his teenage years. He started his artistic training in the performing arts at the Cali Conservatory of Fine Arts, focusing on the exploration of playwriting, literature, music, and graphic design. Along this path, he gravitated toward dramatic and comedic stories filled with hope and fantasy, ultimately leaning toward magical realism—or what he often calls "everyday magic." While developing his early projects, he illustrated storyboards for films such as *El Cartel de los Sapos*, *All your dead ones*, *180 seconds*, and *Live forever*.
